A few years ago, I designed a series of patterns by the images you see when you look into a keleidoscope. Those designs ended up in a book called starbursts. At about 24" in diameter, each of those round panels were intended to pretty much fill up a window.
The patterns in this book are simular (in that they are "kaleidoscopically inspired") but much smaller and less complex. The finished projects are only about 6-71/2" in diameter so you can create them much more quickly. Since they are still "starburst" designs but in a smaller "suncatcher size", I decided to call them Starcatchers.
Rather than filling up a window with one large Starburst, you can hang several of these smaller Starcatchers to liven up a room. They also make great gift items. Choosing the colors for these is almost as much fun as making them.
